Posted · Change custom printer's short name/prefix

How do I change (not disable) the printers name prefix of the gcode of a custom printer from "CFFFP" to for example "DIY" or something descriptive. I have figured out how to change it for my Ender 3 Pro by renaming the whole printer, but that still does not work as expected, and it does not work for the custom printer profile. Is there a way to just manually change it for each printer?

You could try the Printjob Naming plugin, available for free from the Marketplace. It will let you change the prefix to a static text, or include several useful patterns in the job name.
