Printing with one at a time - crash

Hello togehter,

I'm new here and I hope I'm posting this in the right section.

I once had some problems with the mode "one at a time" and I know it was my fault for not paying attention, but still I want to share this here and maybe it can help other newbies like me.

Info: Cura 5.2.2 & 5.3.0

The printer head goes down too far away for the 2nd model, so it touches the 1st model. I just calculated the distance between the two models including the skirt/brim distance.

If I deactivated brim/skirt and set the Z seam right back position, it comes back to the position to crash.

Could this be a possible improvement suggestion for later updates, that you can directly select in Cura where to start at the 2nd model?

I have not found a post processing script, that replaces line 208437.

Inserting a gcode in cura after the layer (end of 1st model) will not help since the problem is the "wrong" absolute position and going down of the printer head first.

Thank you in advance 😉
