We had constantly issues with the second extruder. Somethimes the extruder did move with the rubber plate into the feeddrop. In the beginning the feeddrop was a solution to avoid issues with the breakaway filaments. Today we discovered that the rubber plate was discolored because of the the heat. The Ulitimaker is only 5 months old. This was stranges for us because this core was not in use so often, compared to the first core with PLA. The extruder tip was always disolored and had residues of the material.

Does anybody had similar issues? Why do we have this issue?
Can i remove the rubber plate ?

Any solutions to fix this issue?
Thank you for the support.
