Posted · Open With Ultimaker-Cura not working in File Explorer Windows 11

When I try to open something like an stl or gcode file with cura through the "open with" option in the file explorer, the window just pops up again and doesn't open cura. I tried searching online which led to a few other people describing the same issue but I didn't get a very definitive answer. I've updated cura a few times and now I'm on version 5.3.0. I've noticed that the "open with" name is Ultimaker-Cura.exe and not UltiMaker-Cura.exe with a different capitalization which I'm assuming is the application name from a previous version based on my research; This is just a blatant guess though, I could be totally wrong about this. Also when I try to select another app from my pc and choose UltiMaker-Cura.exe, it doesn't change the menu at all and the same problem reoccurs. This isn't a game-breaking bug but it is kind of inconvenient and annoying.2023-04-23.thumb.png.0272f44a783b87989aa73c1836187545.png

    That's an odd bug..
I would recommend reporting this on github to ensure it gets visibility.. The community forum is not the best place to report bugs unfortunately.

Submitting it on github ensures it lands right in front of the developer team.
