I usually print on a raft, as I have adhenison issues in multiple spots. However, I have noticed lately that the initial layer of everything I silce doesn't start on layer 1 after raft. Rather, the initial layer picks up on layer 4. This is happening with any model I slice, not one particular model.

I have uninstalled cura and reinstalled.

I have reset all profiles and started with fresh profiles

Ender 3 pro with swisstech direct drive kit.

When I slice the models in other slicers, the layer issue is not present.

I made a recording of the first four layers, but insert mov's is prohibited. I uploaded to my Insta though.

Any advice woudl be helpful.

Your raft air gap is 0.30mm but your layer height is 0.12mm.  Cura works to next common multiple and so .30mm is three layers.  There is no air gap for support so it starts building right away while it takes another 3 layers (from layer 5 to layer 8 ) for the first bit of part to show up.

So set your air gap to "1 layer height" (NOT Initial Layer Height) and you should be good.

I learned something here.  When you type an 8 and then a closed parentheses you get this guy 😎

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
