Brims Printing Under Project Pieces?

Im not sure why  but when I try to print these dog tags the brim prints under the flat bottom of the tags. I have the brim set to be 10mm from the project and it has a flat bottom so it should be pretty easy for Cura 5.3 to figure this out. I have never seen this happen before. Any ideas how to fix it?

The letters on the build plate side are raised and so they are the only thing touching the build plate.  The skirt is going around the letters.

This is looking up through the bottom of the build plate.  The cyan of the letters indicates that those areas are in contact with the build plate.  The red surfaces are indicating that they need support which means they are not on the build plate.

Here you can see the skirt is respecting that part of the print that is in contact with the build plate.

I get what your saying but why did Cura add that bottom layer of text? According to Tinkercad there is no layer of text on the bottom.  In fact the text should not even start until 1mm in height. I have also used the same template to create approximately 25 tags with different names and never run into this problem.

Honest Ghostguy6, Cura has absolutely no capability to do something like that.  It's a slicer not a CAD program.

Something went wonky, but it couldn't have been Cura.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
