Posted · Worse quality on newer Cura versions

Hi, I use Cura to print on an Ender 3. One year ago I made a print with great results, now I'm trying to remake the gcode but can't get the same quality. I share with you the comparison on Cura:

This is the old gcode, look at the detail on the M:

This is what I get now:

The drop on the M on the second version is not 90 degrees, so when printed, it gets soften out:

The thing is that the outer shell on the older version is printed without interruptions, but in the newer version everytime the wall retracts and contacts the wall behind the printer stops depositing material, making the outer wall not continous.

Better explained in this pictures (old left, new right):

When I activate the "Spiralize contour" option, the detail comes back:

So the problem seems to be the interruption of the outer layer. How can I change the settings to make Cura not interrupt it?

Thank you.
