Ultimaker 3 Custom Material not syncing to printer

I have inherited an Ultimaker 3 from the former 3D print guru at my company.  Everything is going ok, except he had a bunch of custom filament that I want to use, but I cannot figure out how to get the printer to recognize that it's loaded.  They don't have the RFID Chip, so I've CREATED a custom material and given it the name, manufacturer, temp, etc. and loaded it into the Material 1 in Cura.

I've added some materials using the Martkeplace, if they are available, and they have made it to the printer somehow.  But, at least one is not, requiring me to completely create a new material.  It's in Cura, model is sliced, and Cura says there is a configuration change needed, or some such, and still the material is not listed on the printer to select and satisfy Cura.

I'd really like to be able to add some of these filaments into the printer and make things a bit easy.  I haven't found a guide online that has helped at all.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
