    *firesup Mint VM*

I get that cyclic dependency error warning too (Qt is a bitch) but the program itself runs fine.

If the program isn't loading, could you please upload your ~/.local/share/cura/5.6/cura.log file?

Cura starts up and I can load a STL file. But after the slicing command an error is displayed:

Slicing failed with an unexpected error. Please consider reporting a bug on our issue tracker.

     I include the file cura.log

    Thanks for your response!

It looks like the problem is the CuraEngineTiledInfill plugin which was introduced in 5.6. If you're using it, switch to one of the normal infill patterns. If you're not using it, try disabling it:

    1. Click Marketplace in the top right
    2. Click the gear icon in the top right of that window (shows only installed plugins)
    3. Find CuraEngineTiledInfill. It'll be in the first section
    4. Click Disable

Yep! I uninstalled this extension and now Cura is slicing the model.

But at startup from the terminal there are still some errorr messages:

    harry@harry-HP-ZBook-15-G3:~/Downloads/Software/Cura$ ./UltiMaker-Cura-5.6.0-linux-X64.AppImage
PyInstaller/loader/pyimod02_importers.py:352: DeprecationWarning: the imp module is deprecated in favour of importlib and slated for removal in Python 3.12; see the module's documentation for alternative uses

Yeah, that happens. But as long as Cura is working, don't worry about it.
