printer origin issues

for some reason my XYZ is is in the middle of the bed.

now when I print it thinks the centre is top left of my bed and fails.

 

Elegoo Cura 5.6

 

how can I fix this tried to uninstall and reinstall that didn't help.

    Near top of cura go to PREPARE screen (you are already there in above screenshot).  Then click on your printer near the top left and choose "manage printers".  Then click "machine settings".  Uncheck "origin at center'.  Done. 

     

    "Origin at center" is for delta printers which are a rare breed although Elegoo does make some delta printers. But it sounds like you have an XYZ printer so you want that "origin at center" unchecked.

    thank you soo much, not sure how it got like that by I really appreciate the help.

    Fairly new to 3D printing and this 5.6 new today to me.

    There may be other issues.  Is it possible you are slicing for one of the elegoo delta printers?  Maybe you selected the wrong printer in cura.
