I am an asolute novice at 3d Printing and

I'm struggling witt Cura. When I bring the .STL file in  and I press the "slice" it comes up with this
"Please review settings and check if your models:
- Fit within the build volume
- Are assigned to an enabled extruder
- Are not all set as modifier meshes
I have no idea what it means. Would there be anyone who would be so good h to explain it to me and what I have to do. I've been all over the Internet looking for an answer.
Thank You

The message means that Cura thinks there is nothing printable on the buildplate. Is your model on the buildplate, or has Cura placed it off the buildplate?
