Fuzzy skin problems on per model settings

Posted · Fuzzy skin problems on per model settings

I am trying to create a fuzzy skin on a model.  I've created a slightly larger base skin to allow the fuzzy skin to be applied on.

For some reason, the skin isn't starting at the bottom of the model, as seen in the attached pics.  The first pic is the skin itself without the rest of the model inserted.  The second pic is the entire model.

Can someone please help me and let me know what I'm doing wrong?

If you could post a Cura project file (.3mf, get it ready to print then go to File > Save Project) that would really help.

Just based on the pictures, my guess would be that the inner model is either too big at the front or it's in the wrong position - I don't know if it's supposed to line up at the back, but it doesn't:
