If it only occurred after you flashed the firmware on your printer then the problem is almost certainly with the printer and you'll need to seek support from the manufacturer, whoever maintains the firmware you installed, or the community in general.
USB printing in general is a bad idea, it's a feature that exists mainly for legacy reasons (back from when printers were too stupid to do anything for themselves) and in Cura is no longer maintained.
The main exception to that rule is software like OctoPrint when running on a dedicated system (i.e. I use a version of OctoPrint for a Raspberry Pi). That way you don't have to worry about your main computer freezing or anything during a print and leaving you in a state from which you can't recover.
I'm moving this to the "third party products & modifications" board since this seems like it really doesn't have anything to do with Cura.
In the Cura 5.8 stable release, everyone can now tune their Z seams to look better than ever. Method series users get access to new material profiles, and the base Method model now has a printer profile, meaning the whole Method series is now supported in Cura!
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications
