Posted (edited) · Manually test cooling Fans on an S5

I recently bought a used S5. So far it works great. With the last print I had very bad quality on a little overhang. I think the cooling was not working properly. Is there a way to start the cooling fans manually? Due to the covers I dont see the blades spinning. On my S2 it was an easy thing to do but on the S5 I didnt find an option for that in the menu. As I dont find a topic on this in the forum I suggest I am t0o stupid to find it xD

I also remember this in the UM3 menu. Did it disappear? Looking at the Factor4 documentation there is also a mention about the settings in the menus. The latest S3 and S5 firmware lacks it, though. I suspect my cooling fans aren't running and will need to check it somehow. Pity that this is removed.

EDIT: Just checked my one printer that has developer enabled. The SSH terminal is quite stripped down in the 9.0 software. Searching for an input there seems to be tricky.  In the API there is also no option to control the fans (that I could find). What are my options?
