When I load this model it doesn't properly join the two objects

I am making a ring holder and there are two separate parts, the base, and the ring holders, when I join them in blender they are one object, but when I look at the model in cura, it separates the holders by one layer, it may be ok to print but I would just much rather not have a random layer where there isn't anything holding the base and the holders together, below I attached the model and pictures of the layers that are printing wrong in between them. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated

Blender isn't the best program at making STL files (although it's far from the worst).

 

If you could share a Cura project (.3mf, get it ready then go to File > Save Project) that would help a lot. It slices fine for me so the problem could be somewhere in your settings (which are saved in the project file).

I think the problem is that the holders don't quite line up with the base, at least once they're rounded to the nearest layer height and line width, as they're separate objects in the STL.

 

If you turn on Mesh Fixes > Remove All Holes then that makes the holders merge with the main part of model:

 

If you set Experimental > Slicing Tolerance to Inclusive then that makes sure all models are at least as big as they are in STL so it treats them as separate objects but it rounds up so that the ring holders definitely fit in the holes:

and rounds up the layers so there's no missing layer (orthographic view):

 

Of the two, I would pick the Remove All Holes option. It'll give you a cleaner looking print.
