Posted · What do the colors mean, and why do they change throughout the print?

I've sliced it and this is what the preview shows. I can't figure out why there are color changes or what they mean. I've started the print, should i just not worry about it?

Just above the print you can see you have the preview set to "Layer Thickness".  If you click on that you might get the color chart legend.

I'm going to assume that you have "Use Adaptive Layers" enabled.  Below is a model with a couple of stripes and I have Adaptive turned on.

This is the same model with Adaptive Layers turned off.  All the layers are 0.30 for this slice.

The normal setting would be "Line Type" but there are others that can be handy.

This is set to Line Type.
