Issues with Ultimaker 3 and versions of Cura pass 5.0

I'm wondering if anyone is having this problem...

I'm having issues with printing anything sliced with Cura pass version 5.0.

When printing, the bottom layer doesn't adhere to the build plate properly. With files sliced in version 5.7, it seems like the nozzle height is higher off the build plate when laying down the initial layer than with files sliced in version 5.0

I've done a comparison with Cura 5.0 and 5.7. Sliced the same file with the same settings. Version 5.0 prints fine, 5.7 fails on the first layer.

The gcode from 5.7.1 is using a shorter initial layer height - 0.2mm vs 0.27mm in the slice from 5.0. That could lead to adhesion problems (higher flow in first layer = better stick).

By the looks of it you're using a quality profile only slightly modified from the "fast" preset - it's possible the preset was changed at some point.
