Missing layers

Hi can someone tell me why this problem occurs and can I find a solution. thanks

If you could post a Cura project file (.3mf, get it set up in Cura then go to File > Save Project) we can have a look at it - unfortunately a screenshot doesn't give us enough information to go by.

Your model is bad. All the areas with polka dots are where it's missing faces pointed outwards:

Cura doesn't know what to do with areas like that. Sometimes it fills them, sometimes it ignores them, sometimes a bit of both.

 

Microsoft's 3D Builder app on Windows is great at fixing broken models. And cause I'm in such a good mood, I fixed the model and put it back in the project file.
