Bricked UltiMaker S7 (no display) - not recovering even with the recovery image.

Have an S7 that for some reason stopped working with a blank display. Power on and you can confirm only the display backlight is on. Assumed firmware corrupt so followed firmware recovery guide using the downloaded 8.3.1.img file - https://support.makerbot.com/s/article/1877434822572

Followed the guide and after five minutes the display came up with installing new firmware (see picture). This is as far as it goes. Left the printer overnight and the next morning still as per the picture. Any advice or help to recover my S7 or is there an issue with the image file?

    Thank you for the reply,

Have tried another micro SD card (Kingston) with the same result. Also, have contact UltiMaker support who sent over another recovery image to try. This also had the same result. Looks to be stuck at the point of loading the new firmware. I will see if I have another micro SD card and try again. If all fails look like the mainboard is the issue as informed by UltiMaker.🤥

How are you trying to install the firmware?

It doesn't seem to work at a higher level than the operating system.

For example, if the WiFi or network component fails due to heat generation, I would try USB.

Using the link above to do a firmware recovery. Followed instructions using a micro SD card. Unit looks to be booting and stalls when the displays comes back on with installing new firmware. It does look like the software stalls when looking for the firmware. Unsure if the S7 requires a different set off instructions to make this work or the recovery files are not for the S7?
