ReplicatorG 0040 installatie problemen Windows 8

Hoi,

ik heb een probleem met de installatie van ReplicatorG 0040 en Python bij Windows 8. Ik heb een Chocedge printer gekocht die gebruik maakt van deze software. Ik weet dta het geen ultimaker is, maar de ultimaker heeft wel gebruik gemaakt van deze software, of maakt daar nog steeds gebruik van.

Ik hoop daarom dat jullie kunnen helpen.

Wanneer ik alles geinstalleerd heb via de USB stick volgens de instructies en probeer om de printer "Connect" te maken, dan krijg ik de melding:

Unsupported Frimware Version.

Moet ik wellicht de firmware update URL aanpassen naar:

http://download.replicat.org/updates.xml

Deze staat nu op:

http://firmware.makerbot.com/firmware.xml

Of weten jullie een andere oplossing?
