pantograph technology? ??

Recommended Posts

Posted · pantograph technology? ??

Hi, I have a UM2. I want to be able to print 2 objects at the same time. Just like a pantograph. Obviously using the dual extn but 50mm apart. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks

Should be totaly possible, just needs a custom-made x-y assembly with a second hotend and getting a second feeder motor, bowden etc, the rest would be firmware hacking to slave temperature and E axis together.

I would replace the standard feeder with roberts feeder to get easier filament loading.

Are you going to mass produce parts with this printer?
