Posted · Printing & Coloring a Terminator T-800 Skull with an airbrush (Timelapse)

Hey guys,

This video shows how I printed the classic Terminator T-800 Skull. I also decided to color it with my airbrush kit afterwards. Basically I used 3 paint coats (White base, silver, gun metal) and a darker gun metal for some of the details. It also was my first time working with the airbrush kit.

I also know that the print could have been better, but this was basically my 3rd print, including the Ultimaker Robot.

Best regards,

Alex

That's pretty cool, I'm glad you decided to make more focused, shorter videos. :p

You could probably slow down the print speed a little bit to obtain a better surface quality.

For airbrushing, don't be afraid to shoot out more paint. To each their own but usually the index finger on the airbrush trigger offers a little bit more fine control rather than the thumb. You should also consider printing an overspray background holder so you don't get your wall painted. :p

Cool... love seeing terminator stuff. Not a massive fan of these poor quality models found online though, i`m still waiting for Braddock to finish his model :) Cmon Braddo !
