Posted · wrong default gantry height UM2 ?

Just had a part knocked over, loud noise scared the shit out of me!

had a look, gantry height in Cura is 55mm.

I think this is the deafult as I did not change it, and its the same on my laptop.

It is wrong.

My part was 53mm, my actual gantry is 50mm.

Made so much noise I wonder if my xy axes are still straight

53mm gantry 55 Mm knockover

Think it's wise in this case to figure out a way to change it, or at least warn users about it, maybe on the splash screen during install ?

If I run multiple versions whats the easiest way to change to 48mm in all ?

Well, the first 500 UM2s shipped did have 55mm gantry height (and 10mm less printing height). So forcing it to change would also be wrong.

Easiest would be to go trough all the configurations, sorry.

for me it's fine, but as the wrong setup can do real damage to your machine proactive informing users would be a good idea IMHO, or has this been done and did I overlook something ?
