X Axis Belts too tight ?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited) · X Axis Belts too tight ?

So my Ultimaker v1  has been sitting in the basement for the last few months and now the X axis is really stiff ..

I tried to print something small and the print failed due to slipping

I have oiled the rods but yet no avail

You can always replace the belts if they are bad, but I don't think slipping would be caused by the belts being too tight. Especially after sitting for a few months.
