Hi Leute, nachdem das Zeug in den höchsten Tönen gelobt wird, und die Farben zumindest im Internet extrem genial aussehen, hätte ich gerne mal Filament von Faberdashery : http://www.faberdashery.co.uk/products-page/ Das Problem sind 13 Pfund Versandkosten nach Deutschland - etwas viel für mich, da ich zunächst nur mal das Rainbow Fun Pack mit 10 Farben und jeweils 10 Metern ausprobieren möchte. Kennt jemand eine Bezugsquelle in Deutschland? Gäbe es Interessenten für eine Sammelbestellung für Berlin? Das Material könnte dann bei mir am Prenzlauer Berg, ca. 1 km entfernt von U und S Schönhauser Allee oder auch bei meiner Arbeit in Mitte abgeholt werden. Wenn ja, dann sollte man sich bei mir schnell melden, ich würde gerne spätestens am Wochenende bestellen. Beste Grüße

Thanks David and Erik! Before I startet this thread I was quite shure that the changes must be documented somewhere and I was too dumb to find it . Maybe we can sum it up together for others who might be interested. Especially for people who would like to buy a used Ultimaker Original or for those who don't know if it is worth the money to buy a new one instead of a two year old: Rev 1 (build in workshops only) Rev 2 (shipped from Nov/2011) changes: closed backsides Rev 3 (shipped from ???Month/???Year) changes: switched from 8mm to 6mm X/Y rods introduced after the start of Rev 3 but before Rev 4: V2 hotend V2 extruder drive 2nd feeder slot moving the feeder motor a bit backward so it no longer hits the casing Rev4 (shipped from ???Month/???Year) changes: ??? Did I get this right??? Maybe you have some infos about the Months and Years of the first time the Revisions were shipped? It seems as the arduino board was changed from Version 1.5.6 to 1.5.7? http://reprap.org/wiki/Ultimaker%27s_v1.5.7_PCB Do you know from which revision to which revision it has changed and if there were other changes than the above mentioned?

Hello, as far as I know there are Ultimaker 1 Rev 1, Rev 2, Rev 3 and Rev 4 machines out there. Can someone tell me where I find something like a changelog? I would like to know from when till when which revision was built and how the hardware changed. Thanks in advance!

Das angebot mit Doodle3D-Adapter ist preislich super, allerdings sollten ungeduldige Naturen auch das Kleingedruckte lesen: ...immerhin noch besser als die 8-10 Wochen des Ultimaker 2, wobei der UM2 wurde ja auch ab Ende Oktober ausgeliefert :mrgreen:

Es wurde Netfabb verwendet, Cura gabs damals wohl noch nicht?! Laut UM-Support könnte bezüglich der unterschiedlichen Abweichungen in x- und y-Richtung damals auch die Riemenspannung ein Problem gewesen sein. Das würde sich dann im Prinzip auch mit der Vermutung der Autoren decken, dass bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten die Massenträgheit für die Abweichung verantwortlich war. Lg

Hallo, ich kann mangels Ultimaker leider noch nicht mit eigenen Erfahrungen beitragen. Ich habe mich aber bereits vor dem anstehenden Kauf mit diesem Thema beschäftigt, da ich den UM fast ausschließlich zur Fertigung von technischen Bauteilen brauche. Absolute Maßhaltigkeit ist also für mich ein großes Thema. In diesem Projekt-Bericht http://web.archive.org/web/20130526013938/http://techwall.net/how-precise-is-the-ultimaker wird das Thema auch behandelt, allerdings stammt dieser aus dem Jahr 2011. Seitdem sollte sich bei der Hardware, wie auch der Software und Firmware einiges getan haben?! Gruß
