I used to print with cura 15.043. But it is weird today. The print preview window shows black when cura is launched. I have download version 15.044, and it also has the same issue. How can I solve it?

I need to do multiple printing to save time. But it shows no difference when I change the "tool" setting in 14.09, 14.12, and 15.01. How to fix the problem?

I'm sure "pause at height" is not enabled. Actually, I don't know how to use it....

Sometimes I must press "continue" to let printing go on when my UM2 finishes the first one of multiple prints. But sometimes it can just complete the whole printing process without any pause. Why does it happen? Is there any control option about multiple prints except the setting in "tool" of cura?

How to push them together into the feeder?! Is it no problem when print processing? under extrusion, ugly seam...etc.?

How to change the material in the process when my print still have 20% to go and the material(PLA or Abs spoll) on UM2 is not left enough?

My UM2 Z axis makes loud sound when it starts to print. And it just stops. The screen shows the message. What is wrong with it? Which part I should check?

I try to replace the system board borrowed from my friend's UM2, and my UM2 comes back to work. So I think it is the issue of the main board. I find there is no UM2 board in the official webshop. Can I just buy a new Arduino board to replace the old one? What is the model number? Otherwise where can I get a new one?

My UM2 has the power issue and doesn't work. The light on power supply and bottom board is on, but the LED screen is off. Any part I should check?

@gr5 Thank you! I try to make the screws of the cap and the stepper motor tighter. The printing result gets better.

If the environment temp is not cold or dramatically changing, I think PLA printing without heated bed is OK. The heated bed is now out of stock, but it may arrive to UM next week.

I've done the pt100 replacement this afternoon. It does work!!! The bed temp looks fine.

My UMO prints have the shifted layers issue. But it only happens in some direction. I have checked the screws which are safely secured. Are there other parts I need to check? Here is the model in Cura. It is in the layers mode. This is the print result. One side is fine, and the other side is not good.

I swap the meter wires and try again. The checking result is close to the last time. So I think the meter works regularly. I've changed the profile setting. But I don't know why it doesn't display below my picture. Here is the resistance checking result. The room temp is at 27C. I have no idea if the value is in the normal tolerance.

I made a mistake in the last post. The picture represents a similar problem of my friend's UM2. His UM2 sometimes shows the error message as the picture. After turning it off and on several times, the message is gone and the nozzle shows irregular temp on the display. E.g. The screen shows the nozzle temp going up to 220, but it is actually lower than 150. So his printer is still not working as mine. I should make my situation more clear. The screen shows the message with the "Bed". I also check the 4 wires extending to the bottom board(heated bed and temp 3). I think they are connected firmly enough. But I try to unplug and plug again the pin and wire. The screen looks normal, but the irregular buildplate temp remains. I also try to replace the buildplate and connect the one from my friend's UM2. And it can work regularly. So I guess it may be something wrong with the buildplate board. The warranty of 2 printers are expired. I suppose we may figure it out by your help. We are in Taiwan.

Here is the message on my UM2. The printer doesn't wok at all. I tried to check the 4 wries on the heating board and they are not loose. I think it could be something wrong with the small white spot. Where can I get the replacement? How to remove and replace it?

It is the bottom of a small bowl print. The printing surface has half smooth and half rough. The leveling has been calibrated. Which part should I check ? material:PLA, speed:50, temp:220C and this is half speed and temp:210C. The rough area got spread all around but lightly reduced. It is a small mug print. It also has noisy surface problem. It always happens on the area close to the hand hold. Could it be the side affect of retraction?

Thank you for the help. It is really useful. I try to make the pulleys screws tightened and the results got improved. But I still have other print issues. I think it should be a new post.

I just finish assembling of a new UMO. But I don't know why the layer printing goes wrong. Here is the normal print by my UM2 and another one is the irregular model. Is it XY axis error? How to calibrate it?

@gr5 The filament is not damaged by the feeder ratchet. If pictures are clear enough, you may see the filament is in regular situation. After last reply post, I try to another print. The print is successfully finished. However, it is relatively rare and my UM2 is still unstable. Do you mean the nozzle or the buildplate temp.? I prefer the buildplate not heated. I tried to change the nozzle temp. from 190~260C. Though a few prints are finished, the issue still exists. I doubt it may be caused by the .stl or gcode, but the same file sometimes can be done and sometimes not. @opit78 I think you could be right!! But it is awful that I have 10 rolls of gold color PLA..... :oops:

The UM2 only prints with gold color PLA. After removing the tube, the material can get thorough the heated nozzle. But I also doubt it is caused by extruder motor. I found most of time the nozzle is clogged at first and the material gets ground by the motor ratchet. This is how the ratchet works when the nozzle gets clogged.

Though I clean the nozzle of My UM2 many times, it usually gets stuck. It hardly finishes a print at present. What should I do to check and fix it?

Sometimes my UM2 has weird sound when the retraction happens. Please check the video below. Does anyone know how to fix it? :-| Here is the regular situation. Here is the abnormal situtation.
