I've been waiting for over a month now and seeing MakerShed has it in stock and so far ready to ship, kinda pisses me off but than again it allow Ultimaker to fix some issues with the machine and some bugs in cura before I get mine. To think of it if I cancel my order and by the time PayPal clears my payment, MakerShed with my luck it would be out of stock and I have to wait longer.... Thank you! IRobertl, NachoKaoS and Ion about the SD card being included... So its inserted in the machine, why would you leave it inserted in the machine, does this mean it doesn't come with a SD card case? Ultimaker perhaps you should adjust the manual on page 10.. just saying. I got a great idea why don't we just make are own shipping list lol, you just simply copy and paste it, if there's any change.. than it will be a long list of ordered dates and order not shipped...... lol :mrgreen: screen name........date ordered......... date shipped or NOT shipped....... order number.. :eek: :roll:

Has anyone tried Loctite threadlocker blue? so you don't have to tighten it so much where it might strip, I'm just asking if this would work?? I notice on the user manual it doesn't come with a SD card.. What name brand SD card should I go for and what do I look for like fat 16 format, under 2 gigs max??? what is recommended thank you...

all it is is a carbon fiber filament test I could care less about kickstarter.. its about having new ideas and new filament to use on different applications..

I hope you pack the Glass plate well because mine UM2 is shipping to Texas in the U.S. Asian cowboys down here ride horses to deliver...... lol its like a desert down here and the weather is very cold in the mornings and very hot in the afternoon so we have to have are coats and shorts.. lol

Proto Pasta is offering a carbon fiber filament is there any new news on it? I saw the updates on the kickstarter, has anyone tried it on the Rep2 or Ultimaker 2? I want to see some real world test on some test objects we all know will... I could think of alot of applications you can add strength too with carbon fiber wondering what would you use it for and how would it change the landscape of 3D printing? To get some ideas started imagine what you can print by using carbon fiber filament or just saying Its made of carbon fiber alone is a self selling point by it self.. common examples carbon fiber phone cases carbon fiber gun parts carbon fiber glasses carbon fiber car parts carbon fiber toys carbon fiber airplane parts and so on... Do you think this stuff would be easy to break or brittle will also be light weight? I hope someone comes out with a flexible carbon fiber filament because It would make alot of money don't you think? I would call it Flex carbon fiber filament changing the landscape of 3D printing.. LOL hint hint someone make it happen already! Makerbot, Utimaker someone!!
