    saludos,

    Esteban

  3. Yeah. Is on the line width but hidden and changes 'automagically'. Click on the gear icon or go preferences to unhide them.

    yeah well, mine was on 0.35

    now i turned it up to 0.42

    but still having strange infill structures...(now is a little bit better than before) but still the infill lines aren't continuous in some areas...

  4. Yea and with blobs. Default settings use a very big line width for the infill. Cut it down at least to 0.42 to have a more stable print flow extrusion.

    so the thing is that as default the extruder tries to extrude a really thick line? where can i change that option , i think you meant smth like Infill thickness...

  5. Helo Forum: does any of you had Experienced the same problem than me? While USING CURA 2.30 the overall quality of the print is really nice, the outlines are terrific good, but infill quality looks like underextruded....(poor Quality)

    im printing in Bronzefil, and my settings are as follow:

    Nozzle = 0.4 mm

    Layer height = 0.2 mm

    Speed = 40 mm/s

    Temp = 225 C

    Fan speed =  60 %

    Retraction distance = 4.5 mm

    Retraction Speed = 45 mm

  6. I really do like the core's (I was in the test group) they are really versatile. The temp goes to 280c. I printed PLA/ABS/CPE/NYLON all without atomic in between and had no problem.

    so youre telling us you can use the same CORE for any kind of material without risking having a clog on it?? i use a nozzle per material and colour....(and size)

  7. Hello  Forum! I want to ask if there will be other nozzle sizes for the ultimaker 3...

    and what about the cores? do they have like a teflon coupler like the ultimaker 2+?

    what about materials like copper fill and bronze fill? no prob with that?

  8. i was looking at the videos of the new ultimaker, and i payed attention and how the head is moving and how the build plate goes up and down, very often, it remembered me a dual extrusion that i saw here in the forum, (sorry i forgot the name of who was testing and experimenting with it) it had two printheads, one parked on one corner, so the printer prints one colour, then homes the head and pick the other one and print withthe other colour... or smth like that, somehow remembered me to that post.

  9. well ill try that tonight... yesterday was late in the night and without wanting it, by leveling the plate it came in contact with the nozzle, moving the printhead a Little bit up... i hope the rods are ok... was weird, because i was moving the build plate down (by turning the dial to the left)... but suddenly it started moving up instead of down, thats why the glass crashed with the printhead. you think that was enough to bend the rods?

  10. Hello! I have been printing some small test cubes (30mm x 30mm x 20 mm) and i've noticed that theres some  happening, but in the front of the machine, not in the back... Ran the leveling wizard twice, but no luck... Maybe is smth bend????

    Any ideas???

    Im pronting with the new upgrde

  11. THE PROBLEM IS BACK!

    :(

    Did you replace all rods or just those through the print head?

    Another idea: Has anyone tried to print infill not in +45°/-45° direction but in 0°/90° direction? This can be done with Simplify3D... let me know if you need a test gcode...

    Hey Dimmensioneer, i relates just the rods through the print head, and now im using other filament (yesterday i was using an old spell of colorfabb -  today im using a newer faberdashery spool)  and the problem is gone... this issues is totally and absolutely RANDOM!

  12.

    Got Mine Today! and already running, pretty easy to upgrade... now im testing to see whats the new behaviour, its really damn quiet,  when i turned it on, i thought i forgot to connect smth, because the fan was really silent...  the feeder also sounds really different than the older one, what (at least in my opinion) made me wonder is that ""racketing""  sound when loading and unloading material (is that normal?)

    im happy the surgery ended well...

    :)

    Did you already find out what the sound was?

    Could you possibly make a recording so we can help diagnose?

    Great to read the upgrade was easy! :)

    Good morning! It was really easy to update, but time taking, because the person that assemblied my u2 decided to put several cables through that cable that attached to the center of the motherboard. so i needed to detach like 5 cables more to take that away. :)

    i can yes indeed make a recording, what format do i need? and how can i upload it?

    best

  13. Oh this thread is still alive!

    I have installed the UM2+ extrusion upgrade kit and the issue is gone. So at least I can say the frame is not at fault (because that's still the same) :D

    Before upgrading I put the printer through quite some hardship and printed a LOT with XTCF-20. I noticed the knurled mantle on the feeder motor was worn out a bit. It make sense if that's the cause because then the feeder wouldn't be able to transport enough material.

    here the same, after installing the upgrade the issue is GONE

  14. i had the same issue, i tried all possible solutions, and sometimes doesn't happens, sometime yes, it is quite erratic, what i did is turn the material flow a little bit up, 105 % (not everyone will agree with this solution), but at least it worked and the prints got a little bit better...
