  1. Hi all, I thank you some help. I am (almost) new with Cura. As I installed the 4.0 version some problems appeared (no problems with 3.6). - I have an error message (attached). Suggestion given: "reset to factory default". Is there any way of avoiding this solution, I would loose all my configurations. - Also, and I don't know if it is related, I have a part to be printed and I have chosen the whole first layer with Extruder 2 (1st layer, support, brim...), but in the preview it appears that Extruder 1 is printing this layer. The printer prints according to my settings, and not according to the preview. So, is there any way of fixing this error without loosing my configurations? Will the fixing method remove the "preview" problem? Thank you.
  2. Hi all, I'm printing PLA+PVA and I'm using the prime tower. PLA is Extruder 1 PVA is Extruder 2. External material in prime tower is PLA (E1) and internal material is PVA (E2). QUESTION: Is there any way of choosing the internal and external material? In my case, the reason is PLA adhesion is much better, so it would force a better adhesion PVA ring around PLA. Thank you.
  3. I found it! "Brim replaces support" must be unchecked.
  4. Hi all, Cura 3.6 Brim layer is made with PLA but brim support layer are with PVA directly on the platform. Why I obtain these few PVA lines on the PLA brim? in this way I have many adhesion problems in these 10 lines. I wish all PVA on platform. How can I select PVA support ONLY in build plate? (yellow: PLA; purple: PVA) Thank you.
  5. Hi all, I realize now, and I found the problem. It was my fault, beginner design mistake. It is amended now. The Sketch and Extrude features were not correct. What Cura found and did was ok. Attached photos. Thank you for your reply.
  6. hello all, my first post here and newby using Cura. Please find attached photo. I sliced a part, and wings (paddles...) are "left" as a different CAD body. Cura creates a weak point. Then I compare with Repetier-Slic3r and it was fine (blue model). Both have 3 layer shell. I'd prefer use Cura. How can I solve this issue? Thank you.
