Compact Style :

I've never understood the Max Size box.
Max Size must be used with the Angle Parameter. If you specify a value for Angle this parameter will limit the size of your support to this dimension .
Ie Max Size = 0 and Angle = 20°
A value of 30 mm will limite the diameter of the support.

Take care to not go over to the "dark side"
Unzip the file in your "themes" directory

You mean where is your plugin on your hard drive or why my plugin that worked in V4 is not visible in V5 ? I have a little difficulty to understand the question.
Edit : You are asking about this plugin : https://github.com/Spanni26/ChituCodeWriter ?

Thanks for your file @GregValiant that's what I was thinking in 4.13 Fill Gaps Between Walls was on. it's the main difference but if you don't use it :
Cura 4.13 : 3:50
Cura Master : 3:46 ( The cura Master is a little bit better on displacement optimisation)
Cura 5.0 : 3:50
-
Strange result , the difference looks like to be a gain mainly on the Travel and Skin times. To compare both print can you check if the option :
Fill Gaps Between Wall are not set in the 4.13 (This parameter doesn't exist any more in 5.0 )
and Optimize Wall Print Order are on in your 4.13 profile ? This parameter doesn't have the same influence in 5.0 but according to your result I'm curious to know if you have the same result in that case ?
-
Should we have to call it the 'Stable" release ?

I am presently running both versions, and I have to say that every single print, using exactly the same profile, takes longer using 5.0 .... is this me, or am I missing something here?
I have the same analyse, on simple print the 5.0 is longer than 4.13. But it's a Beta of a new engine. We will have certainly to wait 2 or 3 release to have a really stable and optimized engine

- Coupe
- Transversale
- Pilier
- Pont
- Arc boutant (Arc Buttress)
- Modèle libre utilisateur
- Personnalisé ( Définition avec deux points sélectionnés )
TabAntiWarping
Import Export CSV Profiles
- Calibration Cube XYZ
- PLA TempTower 220 - 180°C
- PLA TempTower 220 - 190°C
- PLA+ TempTower 230 - 200°C
- ABS TempTower 250 - 210°C
- PETG TempTower 260 - 230°C
- Acceleration Tower
- Retract Tower
- A XY calibration Test
- Retract Test part
- Bridge Spiral Test
- Thin Wall Test
- Overhang Test
- Flow Tower Test
- Flow Test
- Multi Flow Test
- Tolerance Test
- Support Test
- Lithophane Test
- Dimensional Accuracy Test
- Linear Pressure Advance Tower
- Bed Level Calibration Test
Et la partie multi-extrudeuse :
- Extruder Offset Calibration
- Calibration Cube bi-color
- Cube bi-color

I didn't make the designs, i'm just repeating what part of the rationale I heard from our designer.
I am not a specialist but I have some notions about the ergonomics of a solution and one of the points is what we classify as Homogeneity & Consistency.
And in this case it seems to me that you have too many different modes for accessing functions.
Buttons that are visible / not visible depending on the situation
Some Active / Non active buttons
An inconspicuous menu with active/not active functions depending on the case.
After that they are just remarks on the functioning if the specialists think it is better.

The rationale here is that the items in the "hamburger menu" are things that you do to the actively selected profile. The import isn't something that you do to the active profile.
Ok "logical" But it doesn't change that there is 3 "levels" of function to do the same thing as in 4.X . And One is "Hidden" compare to the others and the operation in version 4.X
And in 5.0 you can Update a Default Profile . Dangerous because in this case you have no way to reset your parameter to the initial ones.
4.0 interface was not a bat solution
The good point in the case of the 5.0 solution it's the button "Create New" available as soon as you have made a modification and not nesessary linked to the active profile compare to 4.0

BUG: Exporting profiles does not export a file
Also: Please do not hide all the buttons in a dropdown menuI'm agree with you @Kingsidorak
Why leaving just the button import ? And not group all the functions in the same place?
And why complicate the use by hiding the functions in an unidentifiable menu area ?

Hello,
I'm trying to improve the look of my toolbar plugin interface, And I don't find the solution to specify the Icon File for a UM.Button ?
Actual code :
Button { id: tubeButton; text: catalog.i18nc("@label", "Tube") display: AbstractButton.IconOnly width: UM.Theme.getSize("button").width height: UM.Theme.getSize("button").height icon.source: "type_tube.svg" checkable:true onClicked: setSType('tube') checked: UM.ActiveTool.properties.getValue("SType") === 'tube' ToolTip.delay: 500 ToolTip.timeout: 5000 ToolTip.visible: hovered ToolTip.text: qsTr("Tube as custom support") z: 5 // Profondeur }
Expected new definition
UM.ToolbarButton { id: tubeButton; text: catalog.i18nc("@label", "Tube") icon.source: "type_tube.svg" onClicked: setSType('tube') checked: UM.ActiveTool.properties.getValue("SType") === 'tube' z: 5 // Profondeur }
Any advice will be welcome

You can download directly the curapakage file from his Github and then drag and drop curapackage according to your Cura release in the 3d viewport in Cura as if you were opening a 3d model. You will then be prompted to restart Cura.

How to specify the Icon file in a UM.ToolbarButton QT6 ?
in Software Plug-ins

By The way I'm still fighting with this QML file , I have some difficulties to reduce this space when the CheckBox are not visible. That's certainly something stupid but as I'm not an expert If someone can give me an advice :
The issue this space :
