  1. Can you make screenshot of your Cura screen and upload it here? Like to see what you are seeing after loading the object and trying to slice!

I just added you printer to my Cura install... no problem with the files, I'm able to slice them all!  The side-panels RED & BLUE I had to set diagional on the buildplate!

  2. Start with telling which printer you use, build-plate volume etc.

If the object you want to print is bigger as the build-plate volume, Cura will tell you it is unable to slice and you have to adjust the dimension!

I have no problems witch "switch-case-back", but "switch-case-v1" is rejected because it runs into restrictions of my build-plate volume. That is wrong, my Ender 3 Pro can print 235x235x250... "switch-case-v1" is 189,7x196.1x150.0... Somewhere in this forum there is a topic with a solution for this, to remove/change the restrictions.

So... without more information we really guessing what your problem is...

I am having issues with my prints

    I does print successfully.

So you DON'T have an issue with the prints...

That you only see a part  in preview is that you moved the bottom part of the slider upwards...  (showing part from layer 175 and upwards)

Moving the top part of the slider down looks like this! (showing part from layer 0 to layer 206)...

If you want them printed in Nylon... you will pay the price they ask for printing in Nylon...

If you choose for PLA one wheel will cost €29,51...

If you order 2 or more, they will get cheaper...

  5. ... for us it is a wild guess... we don't know your printer settings nor the Start/End Gcode...

Do you have the same problem with the old version? If not, create Gcode-file and compare it with a Gcode-file created with 4.6.1. Maybe something will show up in the Gcode-file... Try, with the help of Google, to understand the codes in the Gcode-file.

Since the information on the website is from 2015 I don't think there will be much support from Hamlet, but you could ask them by contacting them...

Remove the printer in Cura and add a new one, don't import but start from scratch with the information in the Cura Setup file from the Hamlet website... will be trial and error...

  6. I know a few people who have an Ender 3 Pro and switched to a glass bed... they haven't changed their settings for printing...  There will be a difference in the first layer, the magnetic bed is different from a glass bed... sometimes it is difficult to find the right temperature-setting of the material you are printing...

Lower or raise the temperature a little and find out what works best for you...

  7. If I'm right, default printing speed for an Ender 3/Ender 3 pro selected in Cura is 50mm/sec. First layer will be printed at 25mm/sec. You can check that speed in settings!

But without knowing your settings it is a wild guess why it is printing way faster then with another slicer...

Maybe it helps when you have some good Cura Profiles for Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro, you can download them from CHEP-website.

    https://www.chepclub.com/cura-profiles.html

On YouTube you can find CHEP-channel, with many videos about tweaking/tuning your ender 3 (Pro).

  8. Add both printers to Cura and compare both!

I don't think they differ much, but in both cases you will have to finetune the profiles to get better prints out of them!

On YouTube you can find CHEP, he has many Creality-printers and has lots of videos online. From his website you can download Cura Profiles for Ender 3 (Pro)...

    https://www.chepclub.com/cura-profiles.html

I use these profiles on my Ender 3 Pro... Also take a look at his Start/End G-code...

  9. Did you check the specs of Ninjatek Eel filament?

    Quote

    Extruder Temperature:  220°C – 230°C
Platform Temperature: Room temperature – 45°C
Glue or blue painters tape is suggested if not using a heated bed.

    Print Speed:
Top and bottom layers: 15-20 mm/ sec (900-1800 mm/ min)
    Infill speeds: 45-60 mm/ sec (2700-3600 mm/ min)
Layer 2+ use cooling fan if available.

Slower speed is good, temperature of nozzle up to 250 is not good! Maybe the conductive material in the filament is clogging the nozzle...

I print Ninjatek Cheetah a lot (on an Ender 3 Pro), with low printspeeds and temperature somewhere between the values in the spec!

  10. You doubled the steps/mm that is a lot!

Cura doesn't know the value of s/mm that is stored in the firmware of the printer. Cura tells the printer to raise the Z-axis x.xmm, the printer then knows how many steps the Z-stepper has to make (with the value stored in the firmware)... In your case the Z-axis will be lowered, not raised...

So I find the very strange that it is impossible to print an STL sliced with Cura!  Check settings, compare them with the settings in Creality Slicer.

I'm pretty sure the misinput in the g-code should have been caught by a safety precaution in the firmware by usual standards. Nevertheless, sorry to hear it caught fire tho, glad to hear you are safe!

    - edit: learned which mistake.

Not all Ender 3 have thermal runaway protection enabled... Big fault made by Creality...
