  1. Just chiming in here so that any potential buyers googling can see this. DO NOT BUY! I have wasted countless hours repairing this design disaster, to the point that I'd like to bill them for my hours. Infinite clogs, weird design quirks that waste your time, the slowest slicer ever produced, and cheap parts all around a premium printer leave an awful taste in my mouth. I am forever grateful that it is not my dollar on the hook of this thing, but I will never get the filament and time back.
  2. Great update! I unplug and replugged to get the thing to turn on, and it failed my 2 Day print. This software is the most wonderful piece of dog **** I have ever encountered, and I am filled with joy to work with it every day. I hope nothing but a wonderful Christmas to any highly intelligent person who works for this company. Good grief.
  3. Hello, my Ultimaker S5 gets stuck on the reboot stage (big Ultimaker logo, pulsating lights) when I have a print core error and press "reboot". Is this a known issue, and does it have a solution? Google yields nothing.
  4. Agreed, that's the most frustrating thing about this product is the lack of mobility. Thank you for the changing filament suggestion. I will use the purging function (where it prints until the colors change) to act as my "hot pull". Thank you again for the advice.
  5. Thank you gr5, but I've tried that. You can't set the temperature, its grayed out. I basically have to start and stop the print in order to increase the temp to pushing temperature. No other replies are needed at this time.
  6. The Ulimaker S5 works well when it works. When it breaks, its software and online guides are anti-user and generally unfriendly. If you buy an ultimaker, buy the best most comprehensive warranty so that you can send it in every 2 months, because fixing things yourself is often prohibitively hard.
  7. Is there a way to perform hot/ cold pulls during a print after pausing it? I'm using a ultimaker s5. If not, when will this basic functionality be added?
