I have a question about the heater of the Ultimaker, How does the heater warm up to 200Degrees? Can you give me some information? Its for school.
It is a cartridge heater, with a resistive heater wire inside a ceramic padding inside a metal sheath. Other printers are just abusing a big resistor as a heater.

keep in mind the UM is using a regular cartridge, not a flexwatt cartridge
