new cura does not have dual head support yet, and it will probably not be available before the end of this year, it would not surprise me if it would take even more time looking at all open issues and other more important missing stuff.
old cura (up to 15.4) has it, although the quality of supports is generally considered not to be the best. And you would spend time learning something that's basically obsolete.
If you need something now you could have a look at Simplify3D, It's not free and open... but it will do what you need and the quality of supports is very good.
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications
Cura 5.7 is here and it brings a handy new workflow improvement when using Thingiverse and Cura together, as well as additional capabilities for Method series printers, and a powerful way of sharing print settings using new printer-agnostic project files! Read on to find out about all of these improvements and more.

The supports generated by the old cura are pretty good if you use lines. The grid support is horrible to remove.
