I am in desperate need of advice.

My new Ultimaker Original+ is just not moving on the X or Y axis. I have triple checked all connections and firmware but they are just not moving at all even if i try to Auto Home and I am stumped? Does anyone have any advice?

    Hey Netko

Nope, they are also free moving and working fine. Just did the checks on them today too.

Also all my connections seem to match up with what you are showing.

Reupload the firmware for umo+ from cura. Just in case the board came with other firmware?

I've re-done the firmware and just done it again to be sure. No Change

You could try to change the motor cable x to the z and move it from the ulticontroller. To start to eliminate posible causes.

Thank you everyone for all the help with this though. I'm losing my nut looking at this thing.

Also check that no cables are pinched by a motor or something

That was a great idea. Just done it neither x or y will move. They make this jumping noise like its trying to move.

And if you place a motor that makes that to the z and move the z?

So if you plug a x/y motor to the z then it works?

If it doesn't then the board it's ok and it's a problem of the wires or the motors...

No, The Z motor works fine but the X and Y do that jumping thing like in the video above when they are plugged into the Z and moved from the ulticontroller.

They make the same noise when I do the Auto Home and they are wired up correctly.

Check the full wires and inspect them just in case there's a cut. I would contact the shop you bough the kit so they replace tou the motors. Unless someone else can think of more stuff to check/solve this?
