Hey Guys,

i have one question does anybody bought the Dual Extrusion Set??

If yes how does it work ? Any videos or photos?

Hi @Ksheho,

The kit is only for the Ultimaker Original.

Do you already have one?

The assembly itself is pretty good, levelling the nozzles requires some fiddling and we have labeled the entire upgrade kit as experimental because overall it is trickier to use than single extrusion. So your expectation should be different than single extrusion.

 

is a video I found which I think should give you a good impression. Most prints will probably require some clean up.

To make it work on umo+ you need

- 1 pt100 heat sensor

- A new power supply with at least 260W (like this one http://www.meanwell.com/webapp/product/search.aspx?prod=GS280 )
