Ultimaker 2 Extended Fan replacements

Recommended Posts

Posted · Ultimaker 2 Extended Fan replacements

Hi Guys,

I’m looking to see if it’s possible to replace the fans in my Ultimaker 2 Ext with much higher quality ones. I’ve already ordered a small Sunon MC25060V2-A99 fan for the back of the extruder assembly as it seems to be the standard drop in high quality replacement.

What about the other two fans on the shroud, is there a high quality replacement for these that people are using?

Thanks

There is mention of sunon ones in the UM2+ but which model numbers they are I'm not sure. A kit set to upgrade will be available later though.
