Material feeder

Recommended Posts

Where should the indicator block be on the material feeder? Currently it seems like it too much and the heater block is not melting the material fast enough(standard PLA settings), I'm getting a lot of that clicking sound. Currently mine has been at the top line since I got the printer.

It should be at the top. How many print hours have you done?

You may find that you PTFE coupler has deformed.

There is more information on it Here that will take you through the steps of checking and replacing it.

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
