after some weeks of ups and downs my printer is almost complete now. I decided to give the coreXY gantry a try. It comes with some  limitations especially since am using linear guide rails. It has reduced the build area(X and Y) quite a bit.IMG_7534.thumb.jpg.2c63774e792c7eebbd6b1b5901cd92dd.jpgIMG_7536.thumb.jpg.e82fabd5b7ec95b5abb130182d6d2726.jpg[/media-thumb]IMG_7539.thumb.jpg.c000ca9c4dc32b1a138204c58f9832ad.jpgIMG_7532.thumb.jpg.86e7bd3508ce7e5c970342d404caed0d.jpg

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
