CURA 2.1.2 fails on exporting setting profile and UM2+ JSON file

Recommended Posts

Trying to export profile on CURA 2.1.2 64bit (running on win7 64 bit) and I get this message

5a331e8ebf59f_cura212exportfail.png.2ebb523123e916805146d85df48c7155.png

It makes the file just fine but it is zero K

I looked for more info in the engine log but all I see is that it appears it did not like it's own UM2+ profile since I see this

Calling engine with: ['C:\\Program Files\\Cura 2.1\\CuraEngine.exe', 'connect', '127.0.0.1:49674', '-j', 'C:\\Program Files\\Cura 2.1\\resources\\machines\\ultimaker2plus_080.json', '-vv']

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
