Editing G code

Hello everyone,

Cura generates the G code in a way that extrusion head is always printing at 45degree to X axis.  I want to edit this in G code and make it print only in a horizontal direction (i.e. parallel to X axis). Any suggestions? Thank you!

further explanation - basically I need to stop bed movement (Y axis). Of course, the bed can move when layer need to be changed. But, the printer head should move along X direction only and print. (trying to print a simple cuboid for my research)

Would rotating the model 45 degrees work for you? It wont go just in a x-y direction but it will have the same sort of effect on the pattern on the print.
