Determining Cross-sectional area?

Posted · Determining Cross-sectional area?

Hello everyone. I'm currently doing tensile testing experiments, and am wondering if there is a simple way to determine the cross-sectional area of a print of infill % less than 100 and varying shell and top/bottom layers. The shells are straightforward, but what about (for example: 81% infill with a 0.4mm nozzle?)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Depends on the pattern as well.

Cura 2.1 also shows you the infill line distance. So if you set the infill at say 80, it tells you that the distance between infill lines is 0.625.
