Recommended Posts

Hi All,

A little bit later than usual, but I wanted to inform you about the new Ultimaker Session which is coming up!

This Ultimaker Session we will talk about some of our experiences and projects we are involved in within education. Marcella van den Burg, who is fully focussed on education will tell you about a few different projects and talk about the pioneer program we just launched.

If you are a teacher, a parent or just a 3D print enthusiast make sure to come and learn about 3D printing in education.

After the presentation feel free to hang around and talk to some other like minded guests.

Date: 26 - 09 - 2016

Location: ProtoSpace Utrecht

17.00 - 18.00 Arrival. You can also order food (10 euro pp, cash or card)

18.30 - 19.00 Presentation

Cool! I think it might just be out of your commute to visit? ;)

I'll take some notes which I can share with you if you are interested, about the projects that are being mentioned. Alternatively, if you want to get your school in touch perhaps they / a teacher could sign up to be part of the next pioneer program?

There is also a 3D printing Educators conference coming up, you could register to receive updates about the details.

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
