Simplify 3D adhesive layer problems?

Desactivate the raft?

If you are new to 3d printing I suggest that you start with some tutorials about slicers to get the hang of the basic stuff. It will help you on the long run. Also S3D has a forum for that stuff and a lot of guides explaining every single option. I did expend quite a few months to fully use s3d And that was after learning how to use old cura.

So don't worry is an unavoidable learning curve.
