Posted · transplant the UMO+ in a UM2 frame?

i have an UMO+ and i have a UM2 frame and i would really like to put my UMO+ in the UM2 frame but i cant find anywhere if it is possible and/or how to do it. soo if anyone can help me with this that would be great.

    You should download the ultimaker 2 step file (google for github ultimaker) and for umo+ you need to download the dxf/eps laser cut files and make your own 3d.

    Then you should compare where all goes.

    Afaik most of the stuff would fit, but probably the x/y motor oulleys might hit the frame, and the bearings for the shafts are a different model.

    There's no instructions. Go to the bom files and get ready to make many 3d files to see how to make all fit.

    Oh also some umo+ beds have saw the part that holds the screw that touches the bottom z endstop (that's how it works on um2). So you need to check that comparing your bed yo the 3d files.
