celso-santos 9 Posted November 16, 2016 in Cannot install Cura in my Macbook Pro running El Capitan For some time I cannot use my machine because two of the axis rusted badly. I am still trying to buy an extrusion upgrade kit that seems to be the right answer to my problems and still will upgrade my machine. The problem I am having is that I am trying to install the new Cura in my machine ( a brand new Macbook Pro running El Capitan) and it does not open. I install the software and then when I try to open, it says "Cura quit unexpectedly. Click reopen to open the application again." I tried this many times without success. Pls. help me. I need to print some parts in the machine of the university and need Cura for that. thanks Celso
neotko 1,354 Posted November 16, 2016 in Cannot install Cura in my Macbook Pro running El Capitan Try to use appcleaner to remove all previous cura versions and then reinstall.
celso-santos 9 Posted November 16, 2016 in Cannot install Cura in my Macbook Pro running El Capitan Just tried. Didn't work, but at least the icon displayed at the bottom of my screen shows the correct Cura image unlike the last time when I saw pencils and a sheet of paper. /Users/celso/Desktop/Screen Shot 2016-11-16 at 19.19.12.png
