hello everyone, I bought a few days a UM2.

Currently I'm doing the first tests with the "Care" software but I have a year even Simplify, despite having selected the correct printer in UM2 Simplify my printer when you start printing in a corner without making heating it nothing ..

There is something that I have to check in the firmware? I read about the differences between gcode and gcodeflavour but I'm not expert.

You know you help me?

Thank you

I guess you are printing over USB? This is not officially supported for the UM2 family. Try putting your files on a SD card, and print from the SD card instead.

If you still want to print over USB, go to the Printers pane of the preferences, go into the Machine Settings, and select Reprap (Marlin/Sprinter) as gcode flavor.

    Hi ahoeben,

no no until now I always printed via SD, it is the one who advised me and still is sometimes more comfortable ..

I will make the change in settings with flavor code

if I try to start a job done with SD simplify it does not show me even the meters of wire needed - only the word "unknown .."

    Thanks
