Hello,

today I used the Ultimaker again after a few weeks of hiatus. I immediately noticed that the LCD on the Ulticontroller got some strange dis-coloration now. See Picture:

Anybody seen something like that before?

Break out a multimeter and up the resistance of a small potentiometer on the backside of the UC panel (bottom left corner if memory serves correctly from when I had mine out). It won't take much. Works like a charm.

Thanks MSURunner - I just did that and the ugly yellowish spots on the display vanished in an instant. Great!

It really did only take a very small amount of change on the potentiometer on the backside of the Ulticontroller. ^^

    Excellent, Case closed

Thank Daid, haha, I had spots on mine for forever thinking it was interference or burn in or something I screwed up until he posted something in the forums about a week ago.
