I found an object I want in Thingiverse, but I can't get it to lie flat in Cura. Any fix for this?

Posted March 4, 2017 · I found an object I want in Thingiverse, but I can't get it to lie flat in Cura. Any fix for this?

Cura lets you rotate in all 3 axial rotations and if you hold down shift or ctrl or something it will go down to 1 degree. Does that help? Please include a photo. Sometimes I also have to sink the part into the glass. I forget where that option is. Please provide photo and which cura you are using.
