Ultimaker 3 extended PVA not working

Hi,

I'm new in 3d modeling. I just received my new printer and ready to test it.

Everything works well with core AA and PLA.

If I want to use the second core with PVA, so I select the extruder 2 at the right of CURA's window.

In printing over network, the printer will allways use Extruder 1 with PLA.

Am I missing something?

and welcome to the forums!

If you want to print with PVA and a BB core, you need to tell Cura which extruder to use for support material.

If by contrast you want to print with two AA cores, then check out the manual section about merging models.
